Job Title: Financial Auditor

As we transition to a new ERP system, we are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Financial Auditor to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our finance team and play a critical role in maintaining compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Records:

• Conduct random audits of transactions in the new ERP system to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Review transactions for proper approvals, documentation, and coding to ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
• Identify discrepancies, such as incorrect GL codes or missing digits in AP invoices, and collaborate with the finance team to rectify errors.
• Work closely with our finance system expert, to navigate the ERP system efficiently and effectively.
• Perform audits on transactions for newly onboarded organizations with low transaction volumes to ensure compliance from the outset.

Documentation Review:

• Retrieve receipts and supporting documentation for entries as needed to validate transactions.
• Assist in identifying and correcting errors by submitting journal entries through the appropriate channels, following established procedures and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience in financial auditing, preferably in an ERP system environment.
• Familiarity with Dynamics ERP or similar canned ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes, with a willingness to learn and grow.
